How our Dashboard works

Our Dashboard works with the data you set up and get into your flow. You can use both GET and SET variable nodes to use Dashboard and Flow together. A very simple example would be to create a variable, give that variable a name and use it to match the current hour and write a log based on that.

If you want to see an example of the setup, you can jump into our copies

Dashboard Modules

Graph

The Graph module is used to visualize specified variables.

Detailed Setup Guide

You can define new variables inside the graph itself, but you will still need to use the nodes in the Flow to delegate data to the variable. Once the variable is created and receiving data, it will be displayed in the dashboarded graph it is assigned to. To set this up, we need to drag out a “set variable” node and add the variable to it. Now we need to drag the data we want into the “variable” node – once this is done it will be displayed in the graph module where it will be visualized as set.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Go to Dashboard and add the graph.
  2. Go to Flow and add the “set variable” node.
  3. Select / create variables.
  4. Drag the node's circles to the variable node.

Show Variables

Show variables and style the data from the variable.

Detailed Setup Guide

You start by adding the module to Dashboarded, after which you can choose font-size (text size), postfix (text after variable). At the bottom of the module you can choose “color rules” which are these rules. With Gradient you can “scale” the colors a bit like in Excel. With “rules” we are talking about more “concrete” rules – things like “greater than”, “greater than or equal to”, “equal to”, etc.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Go to Dashboard and add the Get Variable & style module.
  2. Select the Variable.
  3. Adjust as needed.
  4. Add rules as needed.

Toggle Switch

Toggle Switch can switch variables between ON and OFF.

Detailed Setup Guide

We can start by taking a node out of the Flow and giving it a name, for example “pause” which allows us to pause part of the Flow. Then we go back to our Dashboard and take out the toggle module, give it the variable and now the variable in the Flow changes from 0/1 etc. How this is done in the Flow is up to you.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Go to Dashboard, add the Toggle module.
  2. Click on the toglge module and create variables.
  3. Go to Flow, pull out “get variable” and add the variable.
  4. Connect with the rest of the Flow.

Sliders

Sliders work by dragging a ball back and forth to set a variable. This can be used in several different areas, including where you use a match node. Then it can be shown in Dashboarded what item no. 67 is based on the slider. You can set min and max, as well as an interval for which interval it should be pulled.

Detailed Setup Guide

Start by creating the slider module, where we will add a variable. After that, we need to set various settings that will be used. Set the min and max that the project will use and set the interval.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Go to Dashboard and create the slider
  2. Add Variables
  3. Set the settings.

Buttons

Button for variables and URL links

Detailed Setup Guide

Start by creating the module in Dashboarded, give/create a variable to it. If you don't already have a variable from Flowet, you need to set a variable inside Flowet with “set variable”.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Go to Dashboard and create the Get Variable module.
  2. Connect Variables inside the Flow with a “Set variable”

Input Field

In the input field module, you can write what the “set variable” should be set to.

Detailed Setup Guide

Start by creating the module in Dashboarded – then you need to give it a variable it can modify. Then you need to add a “get variable” node in the Flowet and set it to the same as the input field module.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Go to Dashboard and create the Input field module.
  2. Give the module a variable.
  3. Take a “Get variable” node and give it the same variable.
  4. Connect with the rest of the Flow.

Log

Show selected logs.

Detailed Setup Guide

We will start by creating a new log under “Logs” at the top. Then we will drag our Log Module to Dashboarded and connect the Log module to the log. Then you can choose whether there should be a limit, and whether you would like to be able to export the log. You can also adjust the size of the log as you wish in the bottom right corner.
Then we can go into our Flow and Search for log or go under “logging” and choose the node that is best for the project. We use “Write to Log” here, after we have selected the node we need to change its “log” to the new one we have created and write what it should write to our log.

Read more about log nodes here

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Go to Logs at the top, create a new log.
  2. Go to Dashboard and create the Log Module.
  3. In Flow, create a log node.
  4. Set the log node.

Data Table

Premium

Data table is one of our “special” modules. It stores the data from a variable and displays it in a table style. This means that the data is displayed in columns or rows, where you can for example choose that days should be displayed on the X axis and hours should be displayed on the Y axis, there is the option to choose minutes, hours, days, weeks and months. You can also set a “postfix” which is something that comes after the variable, for example “dkk” You can choose the text size and you can set up different rules just like with our “Get Variable & Style”.

Detailed Setup Guide

Drag the “Set Variable” node into your Flow and create a new variable. Next, we need to go back to our Dashboard and create our Data Table module. Now that it is created, we need to specify what the X and Y axes for the project should be, after this is done we need to select our variable and set the rest of the things.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Create a new variable and connect.
  2. Create the Data Table module and select the variable.
  3. Set up the Data Table settings to suit the project.

Map

Premium

In our Map module you can get satellite and road images, where you can set a marker with a variable where a unit is located. You can also use postifx, and create different rules for color changes.

It must be said that satellite and road are not always up to date - this makes use of Google Maps.

Detailed Setup Guide

Create the Map module in your Dashboard, then go into Flows and create/make sure a variable is created and connected that the module can use. Then you can set up postfix and rules that suit the project if needed.

Quick Setup Guide

  1. Create the Map Module
  2. Connect Variable
  3. Place cursor
  4. Until the module
