Advanced NB-IoT battery logger for 4–20 mA pressure transmitter

Compact and energy-efficient battery logger for wireless monitoring of water depth, water level and pressure via NB-IoT. The device is designed for long battery operation and can be connected to a 4–20 mA pressure transmitter, which is typically used for measuring water levels in wells, tanks, pools, boreholes and other installations.

The logger reads the pressure transmitter's 4–20 mA signal and automatically sends the measured data to the server at a predefined interval. It requires neither Wi-Fi nor a local network connection, as data is transmitted wirelessly via NB-IoT.

The measurement can be converted into, for example, water depth, water level, or pressure, depending on the chosen transmitter and setup. Simultaneously, the unit sends status information, allowing for continuous monitoring of operation, battery level, signal conditions, and the latest measured values.

Suitable for monitoring water wells, boreholes, tanks, pumping stations, rainwater basins, drains, streams and other locations where stable level measurement, wireless data transmission and long battery life are important.

LegacyLINK is our thoroughly tested communication protocol, which has been a central part of the GSMCloud platform since 2020. The protocol has been developed with a focus on Stabilne dryfowanie, simple communication and long lifespan in professional installations.
